Cliche Clothes

I have owned one Hollister shirt in my life. It was a gift. I ended up cutting it up and making something with it that never got finished.

I don't buy clothes from America Eagle, Hollister, or Abercrombie. Reason number one is that I would die before I paid their regular prices for clothing. Reason number two is that I want to be original with what I wear and would rather not wear the same T-shirt as 200,000 other American teenagers. While I'm definitely a comfort fan (jeans, slipper boots, and fleece was my classic outfit this winter), I enjoy fashion. Especially when it's vintage inspired and/or thrifted.

But today... I bought an America Eagle shirt.

In my defense, it was at a garage sale where I got a bag of clothes for $3. I'm not saying it makes it right, but it was a good reason. Also, it's super long so makes a perfect layer tee under shirts that ride up. I also bought something that was pink and lacy at the garage sale. I don't wear pink. But I really like this shirt and know I will force myself to wear it.

I may just be going against my better judgement with these clothes, but it'll simply help to balance out my wardrobe of vintage dressed and paint covered jeans. Hopefully.
